Eoin & Emily – Married in Banff, Alberta

It isn’t every day that you get an opportunity to shoot a royal wedding…and I suppose Rob and I are still waiting for that day but last weekend we got as close as I think we ever will.  Take a clear sunny day, add the crisp air that lingers in the mountains, an adorable flower girl, a lively wedding party, a handsome groom and a gorgeous bride, surround them with just under 100 of their dearest family and friends and you have Emily and Eoin’s perfect wedding!  They exchanged their vows at St. Mary’s Church in Banff Alberta with a charismatic priest who encouraged them to relax and enjoy the ceremony with his excellent sense of humour. After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to take in more of the mountain fresh air while shooting around the Banff area, visiting lookouts, waterfalls and courtyards. The reception followed at the luxurious Mt. Stephen Hall in the Banff Springs Hotel, which really is fit for a royal wedding and Emily and Eoin fit right in!  Their calm and positive energy made their wedding a true pleasure to shoot.  Thank you so much for having us be a part of it and making sure that we had a good time doing it.  We are honoured to have shared in the day with you.  We could go on forever describing the beauty that surrounded them as they celebrated their marriage, but we’d rather just show you, so enjoy!
