Generally speaking, the couples that we have had the pleasure of shooting have always been game for pretty much anything. Karly and Chance were no exception…except THEIR wedding day boasted record low temperatures. At -34C, the smiles didn’t fade. Come to think of it…it’s possible they were frozen on! In any case, after an intimate ceremony at Manor Gospel Church, we headed over to Rowley for our photoshoot. Rowley is a ghost town about 175km north east of Calgary. With the sun shining, and the wind biting, Rob and I quickly set up the shot while the bridal party waited in the heated car. When we were ready, Karly, Chance & Co. quickly ran out of the car, struck a pose and dove back in to the toasty truck. They were real champs. Rob and I had to bundle up in our warmest winter gear and our fingers were still getting numb. The wedding party was wearing … well, you can see for yourself. No complaints, just smiles in the name of good memories and a beautiful wedding day. Congrats newly weds! May your “up for anything” adventurous attitude stay with you throughout your marriage!
